Payment

If you're booking more than 60 days prior to arriving in Bhutan, a 50% deposit of the total quotation will be required. The remaining amount can be deposited a minimum of 30 days prior to arriving in Bhutan.

If you're booking less than 30 days prior to travelling to Bhutan, a 100% deposit will be required.

The deposits are used to book your air tickets, hotel rooms, pay for the Sustainable Development and visa fees, and other associated fees if any.

How to Pay

There are at least two ways to make the payment: a credit card or a wire transfer

Credit card: If you choose this option we will opt for Bhutan National Bank’s payment gateway facility that is powered by Stripe. We will create a payment request and email you the link. On following the link, you will need to enter your card details. There is a 5% transaction fee. The payment link will be generated by Bhutan Payments.

Wire transfer: This service may be available on your bank’s website or app. Check to see if Bhutan National Bank is available as a transferee or beneficiary. If it is available, you can transfer the amount straight to Bhutan National Bank. If not, this may require you to physically visit your bank to make the wire transfer. In either case, you will have to enter or provide the following information:

1. Beneficiary Bank: Bhutan National Bank, PO Box 439, Thimphu, Bhutan, Swift Code: BNBTBTBT
2. Beneficiary Name and Account No.: Mindful Explorers, 640009760
3. In some cases you may also need to provide information of Bhutan National Bank’s correspondent banks through which the payment will be channeled. Click here to see a list of correspondent banks.

Cancellation Policy

If you cancel your booking more than 60 days before arriving in Bhutan, a USD 200 administrative fee, USD 40 visa processing fee, and payment processing and transfer fees will have to be deducted from your refund.

If you cancel your booking less than 15 days of arrival in Bhutan, a 30% administrative fee, a USD 40 visa processing fee, and payment processing and transfer fees will have to be deducted from your refund.

If you decide to cancel your booking less than 7 days of arrival in Bhutan, a 60% administrative fee, a USD 40 visa processing fee, and payment processing and transfer fees will have to be deducted from your refund.

If you decide to cancel your booking less than 3 days of arrival in Bhutan, a 100% administrative fee, a USD 40 visa processing fee, and payment processing and transfer fees will have to be deducted from your refund.

Airline ticket Cancellation Policy

1. 90% refund permitted for the ticket cancelled more than 30 days from the first date of travel.
2. 75% refund permitted for the ticket cancelled from 10-29 days from the first date of travel.
3. 50% refund permitted for the tickets cancelled from 04-09 days from the first date of travel.
4. 3 days or less no refund permitted.
5. Rescheduled ticket not permitted for refund.
6. Reschedule fee: 3 days or less USD 20
